PharmKonsult Africa Ltd has prepared two small scale Program of Activities (PoA) Idea Notes based on Clean Development Mechanism methodologies that are in the process of being submitted to registration.
These include solar lanterns PoA that will be implemented in the hard to reach areas of Tanzania.
And improved cookstoves in the same areas.
It is envisaged that the two programs will generate over 300,000 Carbon Emmission Reductions (CER) initially. These will be sold to the prospective buyers and the profits will be shared with the respective communities.
PharmKonsult Africa Ltd is expecting to grow in the next five years and gradually engage into medium to large sized projects that will include electricity generation from Solar Farms, Wind Farms and Minihydros; and Forestry Projects including REDD.
